Pantone™ Dualities are the latest release colours from Pantone. The mood of this collection reflects the shift to soft colours and shadows, and I have selected an extensive collection of over 100 colours from this new library.

It has been created to support designers, product developers, and creative professionals who need colour direction that is not only inspiring, but strategically grounded and market-ready.

Successful commercial design does not come from choosing colours based on personal preference or what is currently visible in stores. Colour trends evolve from broader cultural, economic, social, and behavioural shifts—commonly referred to as macro trends—that influence how consumers emotionally and commercially respond to colour over time. These macro forces shape colour adoption years before it reaches retail.

As designers and product developers, identifying emerging colour directions is non-negotiable. To remain relevant, we must work three to four seasons ahead, ensuring the colours we design with today will resonate with consumers at the moment products are launched and marketed. This index has been developed through extensive research across multiple forecasting platforms, industry sources, and independent trend signals to support confident, forward-looking colour decisions.
